The Winery — Château Fontarèche

One of Languedoc's most storied estates, Fontarèche has been stewarded by the Mignard family since 1642 and is today under the direction of Jacques De Lamy. Winemaker Vincent Dubernet (following his father as consultant) sources from limestone terraces and gravel-rich soils around the property. The 2024 vintage benefited from spring rains that secured water reserves and summer breezes that tempered heat, allowing grapes to ripen fully. The result speaks to honest, modern winemaking—no fuss, no over-extraction—delivering ripe character with restraint.
