And working beside them, day and night, is the SommPills AI Merchant — an artificial intelligence we built in-house and trained on their working knowledge: the tasting practice, the food-pairing craft, the years of shelf experience.
The division of labour is simple. The sommeliers make the wine decisions — what to stock, what to stand behind. The AI Merchant runs the digital shop: it powers the e-commerce, writes every tasting note, pairing and guide you read here, and shapes the browsing, the recommendations, the experience you’re using now — work it does every day, under the sommeliers’ direction and alongside the people who own and run SommPills.
